I had a delightful stay at Hotel Golden Tulip Ana Tower Sibiu. The view from the breakfast on the 11th floor was spectacular, offering a breathtaking panorama of Sibiu and the Carpathian mountains. The staff were exceptionally friendly, ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

The steaks at the rooftop restaurant, with views of Sibiu, were absolutely delightful—each bite was like a culinary adventure! Plus, the staff was super helpful when I needed last-minute taxi arrangements, and the hotel had free parking, which is a rare find in the city center!

I stayed for 3 nights with my family while exploring the beautiful local attractions, including the nearby Saint John's Church and the Orthodox Cathedral Holy Trinity. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated the size of the apartment we had, which provided plenty of space for everyone. The secured parking in front of the hotel was a major plus, making it easy to explore the city. However, we did encounter some issues with a foul smell in the apartment and some maintenance concerns that needed attention.

Recommend it for solo travelers

The breakfast on the 11th floor had an excellent selection, especially the traditional Romanian cuisine which was a nice touch. The view while eating was fine. I could see the whole city, it reminded me of the importance of perspective.

It wasn't cheap but still fair for what you get.

A dreadful foul smell in the deluxe apartment!!! Maintenance is desperately needed. chipped furniture, holes in curtains, and a bathtub that floods without warning!!! Additionally, noisy air conditioning was a constant nuisance!!! The gym in the basement felt depressing, lacking towels or water!!!

Just an appropriate option for a weekend breather in Sibiu with decent value for money. The breakfast was enjoyable with a nice view from the restaurant on the 11th floor. Try to ensure air conditioning works properly before settling into your room.

Friendly staff made check-in smooth even with our late arrival, and their assistance with parking until we explored the old town was appreciated. The room was a fair size, though the bathroom felt somewhat cramped. However, the air conditioning failed, leading to uncomfortable heat and disrupted sleep on both nights. Additionally, the breakfast experience was lacking due to unreliable hot water for tea, and the lifts were inadequate for busy times, causing inconvenience.

Free parking was a plus, but the room cleanliness really disappointed me.
